LifeLong Medical Care has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Dental Hygienist or a Registered Dental Assistant to provide our patients with a Virtual Dental Home. Primary responsibility is to provide dental education and screenings in primary care settings. This is a temporary, grant funded (Dental Caries Prevention Grant) position working approximately 20-40 hours a week.


  • Patients will be seen by Dental Hygienist/Assistant. Offsite, a dentist will review x-rays, intra oral photos, and create a treatment plan using telehealth technology (computers & cameras).
  • If necessary, care coordinators will work with families to ensure treatment is completed.
  • Performs tasks with adherence to all OSHA and regulatory sterilization, infection control, and protective barrier guidelines.
  • Provides case management to clients to insure proper follow-up to services performed at school sites. 
  • Documents treatment and patient information in dental software program.
  • Perform other duties with mobile dental equipment.
  • Performs other duties when assigned by the Dental Operations Manager.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Registered Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Hygienist.
  • Coronal Polish and Sealant Certificates
  • Current CPR from AHA approved organization.
  • Knowledge of proper use of all dental materials and dental equipment.
  • Access to reliable transportation with current auto insurance.
  • Proficient in Dentrix, Microsoft office word, excel and outlook.


Job Preferences

  • One year of relevant dental clinic experience.
  • Experience with dental software system.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus
