LifeLong Medical Care has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join the team in Berkeley CA! The administrative assistant will support the Chief Medical Officer with scheduling, other administrative tasks and special projects as needed.

Essential Functions         

  • Provides general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to management.
  • Manages calendar for Chief Medical Officer and Deputy CMOs.
  • Schedules and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements when necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by
  • Assists in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Coordinates CME program including certification with external organization (IMQ) and tracking and responding to provider requests for reimbursement.
  • Coordinates and manages all annual reviews for all providers.
  • Coordinates all clinical call schedules and scheduling for float providers.
  • Supports Nurse Practitioner residency program.   
  • Supports HR with all provider orientation activities

Job Requirements          

  • High school diploma 
  • One year experience as an administrative assistant with filing and data entry.
  • Excellent customer service and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in standard office software (Microsoft)


Job Preferences

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with scheduling and managing events
  • Experience working in a community health center.
