    Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding medial career? LifeLong Medical Care is searching for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experienced in Pediatrics to join our team in Contra Costa County. NP/PA provides general Family Practice medical services in a Community Health Clinic setting. Duties include taking patient histories, performing examinations, making assessments and ordering lab work.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include: diagnosis, treatment, consultation and follow-up care, medication orders, and interpreting results of clinical tests while collaborating with a supervising physician with the goal of delivering comprehensive care that improves patients' quality of life and prevents unnecessary re-admissions to acute settings; provides triage services; maintains accurate medical records through our electronic health records system, eCW.

     

    Qualifications

    • Current California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
    • Current and unrestricted DEA license
    • Strong interest in caring for a diverse, multi-cultural patient population
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
    • Community health center experience preferred
